The Name
The name Kitchen Tapes came from where we started, in our small apartment kitchen. When we first started recording music and sounds, many (if not all) were recorded in our kitchen. We thought the name was catchy and it has stuck with us.

What We Do
We are a small group of students attending the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) and we love our sound. Most of us are, or have, taken sound classes and use it in all of our art projects. We do music, film sound, recording (including ADR), foley, post-production sound editing.

Joel - Online Portfolio
Joel enjoys participating in different many forms of art but his main area of focus is Interactive Media. While much work is computer based, he is interested in how computer based works can crossover into the physical world. After graduating he strives to work as a Web Programmer, Multimedia Designer, or Motion Graphics/Title Designer.
